Deficiencies of the Current Medical ModelsMany limitations of the diagnostic capabilities have led to a serious failure. We must recognize that the majority of all chronic diseases represent unrecognized toxicological problems and their automatic consequence - subtle and overt chronic infections. Because of these shortcomings, the paradigms accordingly address only the end results instead of their true causations. What are the reasons for these failures in both conventional and alternative medicine? The detailed analysis and solution are presented at FCT® seminars. The following is only a brief overview of the deficiencies at hand. 1. The practice of Medicine on the whole has been split into paradigms which branched off into their corresponding specialties based on how they chose to view, approach and treat one common denominator - D-I-S-E-A-S-E. The latter, because of the multitude of factors involved, represents an artificial entity, correspondingly, inasmuch as what part of an elephant, using the well-known example, one chose to examine. In essence, the orthomolecular doctors view it as vitamin/nutrient deficiency; classical homeopaths, as disturbed of vital force, Traditional Chinese Medicinie (TCM), as flawed Chi, osteopaths and chiropractors as craniosacral misalignments, and mind-body practitioners as imbalanced mind-body connection. Other approaches have their own reasons to dispense herbs, complex homeopathics, "balance" shakras, body Ph. or oxygen deficiency, and likewise, "zap" with a gadget, unleash a machine or a new technique of some kind. Not a few manage to create a medical smorgasbord by combining many of these interventions haphazardly in the hope that somehow, something will finally work. Practically, all of these methods target only a small token of the real state that engendered what their approach enables them to perceive as "disease". 2. Each paradigm bases its methods (diagnostic, therapeutic, research) on certain aspects of Man's physiology or anatomy: biochemical, energetic, structural, etc. From hence follow some positive experiences in relation to disease. These positive, albeit sporadic, experiences play deceptions with their administrators by aspiring them that extra efforts and improvements along the path will result, finally, in further gains and consistency. As an example, a number of studies have proven that an introduction of "new and better" as well as more expensive drugs not only has failed to achieve superior results vis-à-vis their predecessors, but have actually raised significantly dangerous side-effects including death. In alternative medicine, similar efforts to "strengthen" the treatment have produced nothing of essence either. 3. Considering the fact that Man consists of infinite bio-chemical, anatomical or energetic parameters and interrelationships between them, this presents just as an infinite of a theatre for virtually endless "better and new" diagnostic tests and just as "better and new" therapeutic interventions as well as limitless but, in essence, unproductive and self-serving research endeavors. The &quuot;new and better" entities along these lines serve only as an illusion of progress since they are based on wrong conceptual models and, therefore, incapable of addressing the roots of one's illness and fail. Invariably they become replaced with the next line of medical products (drugs, tests, procedures, natural fads, "holistic" gimmicks, etc.) to only repeat this senseless cycle. 4. In spite of the seemingly sophisticated and never-ending specializations in both conventional and alternative medicines, by the definition of Sciences, the natural world and Man as its replica are integrated and know no such divisions. It is inevitable that the specialties get bogged down in fragmentations while leaving much of the useful knowledge outside. 5. None of the paradigms bases its practice on a comprehensive and fundamental model in relation to Man's physiology or account for the diverse factors which undermine it. As a result, severe limitations, erratic outcomes, poor return on the costs. 6. Every disease, in essence, is a product of two major factors: constitutional (genetic) weaknesses and adverse matter-energy inputs: toxicological, infectious, physical, emotional, environmental, pharmaceutical, and most of the time, their combined effect. Each paradigm holds its own subjective view concerning the nature and hierarchical importance of these factors according to the scope of its corresponding conceptual and diagnostic shortcomings. Many limitations of diagnostic capabilities have led to the serious failure to recognize that the majority of all chronic diseases represent unrecognized toxicological problems and their automatic consequence — subtle and overt chronic infections. As a consequence, the paradigms accordingly address only the end results or the proverbial domino effect triggered by the major factors, i.e., blood, metabolic or nutritional abnormalities, disturbed vital force or energy flow via the meridians, cranio-sacral structural imbalances, food and environmental allergies, various infections or dental foci, etc, instead of their true causations. 7. The only diagnostic modality that is capable of establishing the presence of toxicological agents which, as a rule, are imbedded deeply into cellular structures, and subtle infections, is Bio-resonance testing with its main modalities: Applied Kinesiology, EAV, VEGA and many minor varieties. The many drawbacks, however, in their applications and the therapies that follow significantly undermine their potential. (For more details, see Bio-resonance testing, Applied Kinesiology, EAV, VEGA.) 8.The haphazard combining of these paradigms without the benefit of a deep and encompassing model of health and disease (the bewildered state of Integrative Medicine today) does not result in a higher quality of medical care. It is only liable to raise costs and, also, the risk of side effects as a result of combining potentially conflicting therapies. In the absence of such a model, the attendees of the nowadays popular symposia on Integrative and Complimentary Medicine continue to receive fragmented, subjective and disintegrated view of the field. The same limitations hold true for all of the medical training in general, conventional or alternative alike. It is also a common occurrence in either field that the students are conveyed an over-inflated value concerning the usefulness of the respective approaches. 9. On the whole, the practice of medicine remains split into separate branches of knowledge and lacks a comprehensive scientific model. This is why it has failed to become an effective problem-solving system. To state the obvious, the very existence of so many specialties-paradigms speaks for the weakness of the entire field for if something has yielded robust productivity, there would be no need for this diversity. It is the objective of the Field Control Therapy curriculum to fully address these major issues and gaps. Its key components will empower health practitioners with the following information.
